United States Postal Service Integration

United States Postal Service, or USPS, is an agency of the United States government founded in 1971. USPS is a federally-overseen provider of postal services across domestic US territories and employees nearly 500,000 people.

USPS is one of the largest deliveries of eCommerce goods in the US and is one of the cheapest domestic package delivery services operating, in part due to its universal service obligation for all US residents. USPS serves nearly 160 million American households each day and has unparalleled infrastructure to deliver to isolated locations.

USPS has web tools to support eCommerce clients, such as API integration, online parcel tracking and dedicated customer service representatives for registered account holders. USPS also provides free address verification software, modelled from their databases, which reduces postal errors prior to the despatch of consignments.
